Barbara M. Tomotani received her PhD at the Netherlands Institute of Ecology and University of Groningen. She is interested in the study of seasonal rhythms in vertebrates. In her PhD she investigated how different annual cycle stages of pied flycatchers are affected by climate change.
Iván de la Hera is an ornithologist mainly interested in the evolution of avian life histories. Throughout his career, he has participated in a number of different research projects either as PhD student, postdoctoral researcher or field assistant. He is currently working at Cork (Ireland) in a project investigating the causes and consequences of variation in avian cognition.
