Borja Milá is a senior researcher at the National Museum of Natural Sciences (MNCN-CSIC) in Madrid, Spain. He obtained his PhD in Biology at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and works on the evolutionary processes that drive the diversification of birds. He uses field data and genome-wide molecular markers to recover the evolutionary histories of birds inhabiting islands in tropical and subtropical regions.
