Geneviève Blanchet is a recent MSc Graduate from the CGRG Lab at the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo. Her thesis focused on the conservation genomics of the critically endangered ‘alalā or Hawaiian Crow (Corvus hawaiiensis). Geneviève has a dual background in environmental and molecular research from McGill University and the University of Montreal. She is particularly interested in using genomics for the conservation of genetic diversity and adaptive potential of endangered species in captivity as well as in the wild.
