Kyle is a recent M.Sc. graduate from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador, where he studied the breeding ecology and foraging ecology of Northern Gannets at Cape St. Mary’s, Newfoundland, Canada. He has a keen interest in all things seabird ever since his first encounter with his “spark” bird, the Leach’s Storm-Petrel (Hydrobates leucorhous), in 2017. His main research interests include behaviour, population demography and movement ecology of North Atlantic seabirds.
