Michael Thornton

Michael is an Ornithology Adviser at NatureScot, responsible for providing advice on the impacts of onshore renewable energy developments on bird populations. He has a particular interest in raptor breeding ecology, population dynamics and migration; and currently sits on the Scottish Raptor Monitoring Group. He completed this Bean Goose study in fulfilment of a MRes at Edinburgh Napier University.
