Rory Crawford has a BSc in Aquatic Bioscience from the University of Glasgow, and has worked for the RSPB for almost 8 years. In 2009, he started working on marine policy in Scotland, particularly on the development and implementation of the nature conservation elements of the Marine (Scotland) Act, sustainable fisheries, and seabird island restoration projects. Since 2013, Rory has worked for the BirdLife International Marine Programme (hosted by the RSPB), largely focussing on seabird interactions with fisheries, particularly gillnets and the Marine Stewardship Council sustainable fisheries certification scheme.
