Tulsi currently works as a director of programs at Himalayan Nature, Kathmandu Nepal. Tulsi has completed his PhD at the University of Science in Malaysia and studied Bearded Vulture (Gypaetus barbatus) as a PhD project. Previously, Tulsi worked at Birdlife Nepal as a vulture biologist and also completed several research and conservation projects on birds of prey including raptor migration since 2012, satellite telemetry of Bearded Vultures, Himalayan Vultures, Mountain Hawk Eagles and Indian Spotted Eagles. Tulsi brings more than a decade of expertise in wildlife research and conservation.
