Ugo Mellone has been studying raptor migration across the Mediterranean Sea since the 2003. He got its PhD in the 2013, with a thesis on Eleonora’s Falcon (Falco eleonorae) movements followed through satellite telemetry. He currently works as a freelance in different fields, including nature photography, research projects and wildlife documentaries.
