Ken is the Deputy Director of Science at the Natural History Museum, UK. He has worked for nearly 40 years on the ecology and conservation of wild birds, including several endangered species and joined the Museum in April 2020 to help it play its part in addressing the Planetary Emergency we face in terms of human impacts on the natural world (https://www.nhm.ac.uk/about-us/our-vision-strategy.html). One of the keys to shaping a better future for people and our planet is learning from the past. To do this, the Museum needs to unlock its collections and release the data they contain – helping make this happen is a key part of Ken’s leadership role at the Museum.
