Maurizio Sarà

Dr. Maurizio Sarà, Professor of Zoology and Biogeography at the University of Palermo (Italy), has been dedicated to ornithological studies for over 40 years. His main interests are the ecology of threatened species, especially birds of prey, and the conservation of their habitats, especially in the Mediterranean steppe-like areas. He is currently president of the Italian Center for Ornithological Studies (CISO ODV).
