Mylène is a Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Western Australia working with wild birds. She is currently investigating the links between cognition and reproductive success, using a ringed and habituated population of Western Australian magpies. She obtained her PhD from the University of Lyon (France) where she studied the mechanisms for recognizing heterospecific alarm calls in birds. Her research involves investigating the behaviour, vocal communication, and cognition in wild animals.
