Pablo Plaza

Pablo Plaza has a PhD in Biology from Comahue University, INIBIOMA-CONICET, Argentina. His investigations are focused on different aspects of conservation and medicine of scavengers birds. In the last years, he has published different studies related to the impacts of toxic metals, pesticides and food subsidies on vultures and condors.

This review was undertaken in collaboration with Dr. Guillermo Blanco, from Department of Evolutionary Ecology, Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales (CSIC), Madrid, Spain, and Dr. Sergio Lambertucci from the Argentine Research Council, CONICET, and Comahue University.
