Ruben Evens is a PhD student at Hasselt University (Belgium) with a main research focus on foraging ecology, migration and conservation of Nightjars. In order to improve conservation management, he is currently analysing foraging behaviour and describing the implications of landscape configuration on birds’ physiology and population processes.
In February 2016, the Nightjar Research Group was launched to facilitate collaborative work, streamline data collection and share ideas on the ecology of Nightjars. Please contact Ruben if you want to attend meetings.
