IBIS – Best ECR paper of 2024

Our Associate Editors considered 38 IBIS papers, published in 2024, whose first or corresponding author was an Early Career Researcher (ECR), nominating their favourites. The top-ranking papers were put to a public vote to select the Best ECR IBIS Paper of 2024.

We are extremely grateful to Leica Camera (UK) for their continued support of this award.

On being informed of the award, Selin said “I’m incredibly honoured to receive the Best ECR Paper award, and to be selected by the IBIS journal—one I’ve learned so much from and been inspired by throughout my research. This recognition means a great deal to me, and I’m grateful to my supervisors for their guidance, and to everyone who took the time to engage with and support my work. A big thank you as well to Leica for generously providing the prize.”
