BOU Member Conference Attendance Grants
BOU members presenting at BOU2025, but with limited funds to travel, may be interested in applying for a BOU Member Conference Attendance Grant. This scheme supports members attending ornithology conferences to present their work and encourages the use of low-carbon travel, where possible.
Application deadline: 16 December 2024
BOU Member Conference Attendance Grants
BOU Low- and Middle-income Country (LMIC) members
We have a limited number of free conference places available to BOU Low- and Middle-income Country members. This includes conference registration, on-campus student accommodation (for 2 nights: 1 & 2 April) and meals during the conference. Members would still be required to fund their travel to/from the conference and any additional accommodation and meals (although see BOU Member Conference Attendance Grants above).
Priority will be given to BOU LMIC members presenting at BOU2025.
To apply for one of these places, please send a brief outline detailing why you would benefit (to include a brief biography, an explanation of what you stand to gain from participating, and the financial constraints you face) to admin@bou.org.uk
