Prof Chris Perrins has had a long association with the BOU including serving as President from 2003 – 2007.
“Chris Perrins has made a monumental contribution to ornithology at the widest international levels. His involvement in the British Ornithologists’ Union is far-reaching and distinguished, most notably having served as President from 2003 to 2007 . . . Chris is a wonderfully appropriate recipient of the Union Medal”
